Columbus Half Marathon in Columbus, Ohio

This was a perfect race weekend! I have family that lives right downtown in Columbus and were gracious enough to host us so we could plan a fun weekend around this race. It made for wonderfully simple race-morning logistics, which I always appreciate!

I highly recommend this race, it is one of my favorites! It is well-organized, the course is flat and fast, the crowd support is incredible, supporting the Children's Hospital is emotional and meaningful. I felt well-trained and am so proud of this PR, I do not expect to beat it any time soon.

P.S. I ran the Columbus Half Marathon again in 2022, and had an equally positive experience. I know people also love Flying Pig and Capital City, so there are several great options for half marathons in Ohio. This is a popular October weekend for races, but I will run Columbus again as soon as I can fit it into my schedule!
