Atlantic City Half Marathon in Atlantic City, New Jersey

Image
Racing on the boardwalk! I just returned from a w onderful weekend in Atlantic City, New Jersey with my dear friend Elana! We conquered the King Neptune Challenge, which is a 5K on Saturday plus a Half Marathon on Sunday. We also celebrated our friend Erin's 40th birthday, she crushed the full marathon! Sunrise on the beach before the 5K (My favorite part of Atlantic City)   Overall, I would describe this as a solid race choice for New Jersey and I am glad we did it! However, at the last minute, I decided I still really wanted to try to make this trip happen. The weather was perfect, and the girls made plans for an early dinner so I hopped in the car around 5:00 PM and headed north. I stayed in a Hampton Inn in Mansfield, PA, which worked out very well. It was an easy 25 minute drive to Corning. NY in the morning. Parking a...
